Dizzy Balloon is five young men who love writing songs. Their sound is unique in a world gone hardcore and indie. It isn't a trend, a genre, or a fashion statement. It's not lazy, or boring, or melancholic. It's a new generation of energetic, optimistic, well-crafted pop rock. Listen in. And for heaven sakes, turn it up.

I am Forrest Day: beatmaker, songwriter, sax-player, and singer. Most of the tracks you hear are me in the studio with some great help from Chocolate O'Brian and Luke Dillon. They can be found on my self-titled EP available on iTunes.

My name also represents the nastiest 7-piece band you ever heard. We are at our best now, two years running, and beginning to reach other cities and states. If you have not been to a show then you are missing out; it is ridiculous! We are almost done recording our first full-length album at the beautiful Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, to be released in early 2010.

My style will always be free, and I will continue to do whatever I want. I am traveling with this band, city by city, and showing people what we do. It is a truly grassroots effort. So come see us, support real music, and support a group of people who do what they do purely for the love of it.
